Do you want a more personal approach?
Individual Counselling is available for Teens and Young Adults
(up to age 21) and their Parents.
As a behaviour analyst, I will also use a cognitive-behavioural framework (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), were we look at the impact of our thoughts, feelings and beliefs on our actions and where we get stopped in taking action that prevents us from creating lasting change in our life.
Depending on the issues/concerns and goals you bring - we may bring on the principles and practices from the Epic Win course to empower us in moving forward in our lives.
My approach is to empower teens, young adults and their parents in taking committed action toward our goals despite the circumstances of life.
Counselling sessions may focus on, but are not limited to:
Transition to adulthood challenges: like planning for the future, goal setting, choosing job or career paths, higher education, etc.
Communication challenges within family, friendships or other social relationships; being heard, listening and personal expression
Motivational challenges: how to keep in action toward your goals
Emotional challenges related to anxiety and depression
